This video served as the introductory centerpiece for the Charter Day ceremonies of that 2018. William and Mary had just begun to authentically engage with the problematic elements of its historical legacies, delving into the echoes of centuries past.

The primary objective of this video was to reanimate those historical echoes, bridging the chasm between past and present. To accomplish this, I engaged student voice-over artists to illustrate how the contemporary student body appropriates the language once used by past oppressors. The video culminated in a dynamic crescendo, a striking contrast to the monotonous traditions that preceded it, but still alludes to the long road ahead.
