"Smash Sisters" is a Red Bull Esports production that delves into the emergent community of female Super Smash Bros. Melee competitors.

Gaming communities often serve as a refuge for individuals who may not fit conventional societal norms. Nonetheless, within these diverse communities, the persistent presence of misogyny, transphobia, and racism has resulted in exclusion, marginalization, and, at times, outright hostility. A decade ago, the Super Smash Bros. scene was particularly dismissive of female participants. In recognition of the universality of gaming, a select group of women took it upon themselves to establish a stronghold within the community, determined to combat this inhospitable atmosphere.
